Meet The Team

Emily is a Tamworth local with extensive experience in the paediatric sector of occupational therapy. After graduating from Southern Cross University, Emily pursued her career on the Gold Coast and progressed internationally in hospitals across England, rotating through paediatric and specialist wards. Emily returned home to Tamworth with the goal of providing cutting-edge paediatric occupational therapy services to the New England region. This came to fruition in 2020, establishing Espire Paediatric Occupational Therapy.

Emily has a strong interest in canine-assisted therapy, enabling children to achieve their goals and full potential with support from Horley. Emily enjoys maintaining her current knowledge through exploration of research, most recently facilitating a feasibility study for virtual reality.

Caitlin is a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist with a wealth of experience gained through clinical and research roles in Newcastle and Melbourne. She graduated from the University of Newcastle with Class One Honours in 2017 and her passion for enhancing the lives of children and their families shines through in her holistic approach to therapy.

Specialising in sensory processing, fine motor skills, regulation, and independence challenges, Caitlin is dedicated to making therapy both fun and personalised for each child. She believes in a neuro-affirming and family-centred approach, creating a nurturing environment where children can flourish in their own unique ways.

With extensive experience in supervision and team leadership, Caitlin excels at guiding clinical teams to achieve optimal outcomes for their clients. She is deeply committed to mentoring other therapists, fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment that encourages continuous learning and development.

Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends and exploring the outdoors. She is thrilled to be part of a team that values communication, respect, integrity, and goal-centred care, working together to support children and their families on their journeys to success and flourishing.

Chloe joined the Espire team at the beginning of 2023, after previously working within local Tamworth schools. Chloe relocated to Tamworth at the start of 2022, after graduating from the University of Newcastle.

Chloe has a strong passion for paediatric therapy, with special interest in fine motor skills and handwriting. Chloe enjoys working collaboratively with children to help them achieve their goals and is excited to be continuing her career with Espire

Kate graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. As a Tamworth local, she is passionate about delivering high-quality services to the regional community.

Kate loves working with children to help them achieve their goals, with a special interest in fine motor skill development, school readiness, and scripting Assistive Technology. She values the opportunity to provide unique and tailored interventions for families at Espire, ensuring each child receives the support they need to thrive.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with friends and family and playing hockey on the weekends.

Megan graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2023 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours). With a strong rural background, she is passionate about bringing her skills to regional communities and enhancing the lives of local children and their families.

Megan has a special interest in supporting children and their families in developing fine motor skills, school readiness, and sensory regulation. She also enjoys conducting functional capacity, fine motor, and handwriting assessments. Committed to a neuro-affirming approach, Megan ensures therapy is fun, engaging, and tailored to each child’s unique needs.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys reading, baking, spending time with friends, and waterskiing. She loves being part of a dynamic and supportive team that values communication and goal-centred care.

Laura graduated from Southern Cross University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. As a Tamworth local, she is thrilled to support children and families within her community.

Her passion for paediatric occupational therapy continues to grow as she works alongside children and their families to help them achieve their unique goals. Laura is dedicated to providing an individually tailored approach to therapy—because no two children are the same!

Nikola graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Charles Sturt University, Port Macquarie, in 2024. Her passion for paediatric occupational therapy was ignited during her student placement at Espire, where she had the opportunity to work alongside the dedicated Espire team in supporting children to achieve their goals.

With a rural background, Niki is excited to bring her skills back to the community she loves, working to enhance the lives of local children and their families. She is eager to grow as an occupational therapist while helping children flourish and thrive in their own unique ways. Niki believes that every child deserves individualised care that nurtures their abilities and supports their journey to success.

Natalie has been working with Espire since June 2022. With an extensive background in early childhood education, Natalie completed her Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Occupational Therapy) with a special interest in fine motor skills, school readiness programs, and interest-based and play-based learning.

Natalie thoroughly enjoys working with the Espire team, helping children reach their full potential. Natalie is grateful that Espire’s values align with hers, and takes every opportunity to grow and learn as both an occupational therapy assistant and as an individual.

Belinda has over 15 years of administration experience working in the Hunter region. Belinda relocated to Tamworth in early 2023 and has had the pleasure of joining the Espire team. Belinda's skills and experience are what help her support and empathise with each individual's needs within our Espire team and in the community.

Outside of work Belinda enjoys camping, travelling, sports & spending time with family and friends.

Born and raised in Tamworth, Rebecca brings extensive experience in administration and reception to the Espire team. She joined Espire in early 2025, and her warm, caring approach perfectly aligns with our clinic’s culture. Rebecca is passionate about supporting children and their families, ensuring a welcoming and organised experience for all.

Outside of work, Bec loves spending time with her husband, children, family, and friends—often at sporting events. She also has two incredibly cheeky French Bulldogs who undoubtedly rule the house!
